Mildred Webster

Latta – Mildred Catherine Campbell Webster, 86, died at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC, January 23, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Pyerian Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, January 25, 2013, at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon, SC.

Mrs. Webster was born in Lumberton, NC, September 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Dewey Talmadge and Lila Hardy Campbell and the widow of Acie Rowland Webster. She retired as a seamstress with Craftex Creations in Latta, SC. She was a Sunday School Teacher of the Senior Adult Ladies Class for many years, a member of the Ladies Helping Hands, and a member of the Women’s Missionary Union at Pyerian Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Floyd Dale Rescue Squad.

She is survived by her sons, Donald (Linda) Webster of Latta, SC, Ronald (Jeanette) Webster of Darlington, SC, Tim (Robbin) Webster of Florence, SC, and Danny (Valerie) Webster of Timmonsville, SC; daughters, Cathy (Carl) Ammons of Hope Mills, NC and Jane (Mike) DeLisa of Latta, SC; a brother, Dewey Talmadge (Joyce) Campbell, Jr. of Plainsville, IL; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Owens, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Arnold Ray Webster; a grandchild, Crystal Michelle Webster; and two brothers.
