Lady Wildcats Earn 59-13 Win Over Aynor

Dillon’s Lady Wildcats picked up a 59-13 win over the Aynor Blue Jackets at home on Friday.

The Wildcats took a 22-5 lead in the first quarter and never let up, outscoring Aynor 10-6, 16-1, and 11-1 in the remaining periods.

Tyshanna Lester led Dillon with a game-high 12 points with Khamele Manning adding nine and Brianna Lee and Nakedra Page each adding eight. Dakerhia Samuel scored six, Yolanda Campbell earned five, Shar’Asia Samuel scored four, and Shymya Sowells added three, with TeJah Breeden and Bonnie Fields each adding two.

Brooke Barfield earned a team-high eight points for the Blue Jackets, with Caprisha Nash scoring three and Ayawna Deas adding two.

The Lady Wildcats improved to 12-5 overall and 5-1 in Region 8-2A.

Tonight, Dillon will be at Mullins to take on the Lady Auctioneers at 6:00 p.m. The Lady Wildcats fell 47-26 to top-ranked Mullins in their first encounter.

On Friday, Dillon will be back home to host Marion in the first of three home games that will wrap up the regular season. All home games start at 6:00 p.m., so make plans to attend to support our local teams!
