Dillon’s freshman quarterback Avery McCall has reportedly received offers from the University of South Carolina and East Carolina following his performance in the Class 2A Division I championship. The Wildcats claimed the title with a 21-6 win over Fairfield-Central.
McCall took over as the team’s starting quarterback after Thomas Grossetti was injured. McCall threw for 1,126 yards in his freshman year for 12 touchdowns and no interceptions, completing 74 percent of his attempts.
