The Latta Vikings fell 57-52 against the visiting Mullins Auctioneers on Tuesday, December 11.
Ken’Che Page scored a game-high 19 points for Latta, and Tyrell Sabb added 15. Jordan Smith added eight points; Ty’Sean Burgess, five; Justin McClellan, 3; and Charles McGill added two.
T. Swinton and J. Felton each earned 18 points to lead Mullins in the win. R. Purnell earned 10; A. Brown, 7; E. Legette, 5; and D. Reaves scored two points for the Auctioneers.
The Latta boys slip to 0-3 in the regular season, with all of their losses coming from Class 2A teams.
The Vikings will travel to Mullins this Friday at 6:00 p.m. and will face Dillon on Thursday, December 20, before breaking for the holidays. Latta will begin Class A play on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, against Creek Bridge.
