Mr. Hubert M. Stone, age 90, of 3105 Tobacco Rd. Fairmont died Monday, October 21, 2012 at home.
He was born July 17, 1922 Robeson County.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Barnesville Baptist Church with Rev. John Spence officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Floyd Funeral Services from 7:00-9:00 P.M.
Burial will be in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.
Preceded in death by parents, Dan Stone and Lula Stone, his wife, Jean Walters Stone, and grandchildren Ashleigh and Brian.
Survived by one son, Hubert “Butch” Stone of Center KY; seven daughters, Teddy Stone of Fairmont, N.C., Betty Williamson and husband Jimmy of Cerro Gordo, N.C., Stormy Jones of Winnabow, N.C., Melody Bullock and husband Terry of Lake View, S.C., Dixie Gurkin and husband Earl of Leland, N.C., Jackie Bass and husband Horace of Lake View, S.C., and Starla Graves and husband Robert of Taylorsville, KY; one sister, Mavis Branch of Orrum, N.C.; twelve grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
