Mrs. Margaret Causey Stockton, 72, widow of David H. Stockton, died Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence after an illness.
Mrs. Stockton was born September 14, 1939 in Dillon County, a daughter of the late Lee and Jamie Causey.
She was a homemaker and a caregiver. Mrs. Stockton was a member of Nichols Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Stockton are: a Son: James Stockton of Fork; a Grandson: David Stockton of Fairmont, N.C.; and 2 Sisters: Norma Christmas of Dillon and Omelia Carter of Florence.
Mrs. Stockton was predeceased by a son, Ronnie D. Stockton and 2 brothers, Wayne Causey and Lee Causey, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lake View Cemetery.
Visitation was held Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home in Mullins.
