The Fork Presbyterian Church held its May Family Night meal and program on Wednesday, May 9. Special guests in charge of the program were Reverend Jim Ridenhour, pastor of Lynchburg United Methodist Church and Mr. Jim DeBerry of True Compassion Ministries. Mr. Ben DeWayne was a special guest who came with Reverend Ridenhour and Mr. DeBerry.
Reverend Ridenhour brought his dapple grey Arabian stallion named Steele. Steele performed about 20 tricks for the crowd. Mr. Jim DeBerry played the American Indian flute and the music was delightful and inspiring. Both of these men gave their testimony and had a very meaningful message about the difference the Holy Spirit makes in our life.
After the program, Mr. Ben DeWayne, animal trainer for Ringling Brothers Circus and a Disney movie stunt man, shared some insight on movies he had been in and told of his experiences as a stunt man for Disney productions.
Reverend Adrienne Anderson is pastor of Fork Presbyterian Church.
