Dillon’s Chelsea Frazier signed a letter of intent on to play basketball at Erskine College on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.

Frazier has been a team leader for Dillon’s Lady Wildcats throughout her high school career. She averaged 28.9 points per game in her senior year and earned a total of 607 points this season. She garnered 144 rebounds for an average of seven per game, 126 assists for an average of six per game, and averaged four steals per game.

Frazier received interest from several schools including Coastal Carolina, Furman, East Carolina, and Francis Marion before deciding on Erskine. She says she wants to major in sports medicine.

Frazier has received numerous awards during her time with the Wildcats, including the “Hoop Stars” award in March of 2011. In 2012, she played in the North-South All Star game in North Myrtle Beach. She was named All-Region and was the only local player to be named All-State this season.

“It’s great to know I’m going to play with a great team and great players,” Frazier said. “I’m ready to be a starter in my first year.”
