The Dillon Wildcats fell 6-0 to the South Florence Bruins in soccer action on Wednesday, March 28, in Florence.
South Florence’s Alex Bull scored three goals to lead the Bruins. Jeff Steen, Eric Turner, and Zachary Humphries scored one goal each.
Adam Dale made four saves for the Bruins, and Eric Turner, Austin Stephenson, Austin Bull, and Luke Severance each recorded assists.
South Florence improves to 5-4 overall with a 1-1 region record in Region 6-4A. Dillon slips to 4-5 overall with a 2-3 record in Region 8-2A.
The Wildcats are off this week for spring break but return to regular season action on Monday, April 9, when they host Cheraw in a non-conference game. Their next region match will be at Mullins on Tuesday, April 10. On Friday, April 13, the Wildcats will be back home in Dillon to host Marion.
