Two arrests have been made in the murder of a Everardo Fuentes, 24, of Dillon, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Mathis McLaughlin, age 23, Dillon, is charged with murder, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. He turned himself in this (Tuesday) morning.
Also charged is Fallon Altman, age 28. She is charged with accessory after the fact.
Arnette said warrants have on another individual have been obtained, but that individual has not been apprehended yet.
Assisting in the arrest were the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, Dillon Police Department, Fourth Circuit Solicitor’s Office, and SLED.
Fuentes was killed on Lucius Road Off Highway 57 South in Dillon on Monday, March 26th.
