The Wild Gators took a pair of losses last week as Lake View fell to Johnsonville 83-50 on Tuesday and to Creek Bridge 73-28 on Friday.
Johnsonville’s Flashes improved to 13-5 as they downed the Wild Gators 83-50 in Lake View.
On Friday, the Wild Gators were overwhelmed by Carvers Bay early on as the Bears outscored Lake View 25-11 in the first quarter. The Bears kept up the assault to outscore Lake View 13-11, 18-2, and 17-4 in the remaining quarters.
Teondre Bromell led Carvers Bay with a game-high 22 points with Rayshod Pittman adding 145 and Da’Shaun Aiken earning 14. Shayton Durand scored six points, Walter Linnen added three, and Leshon Morris netted two, with Shaquand Durand and Rayshad Dorsey each earning four in the win.
Lake View slips to 4-10 overall and 2-7 in Region 8A.
