Mrs. Lizzie Sweat Caulder, 85, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Pines Nursing Home.
Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2012 at Sardis Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held 6-9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, July 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Walter Sweat and Martha Berry Sweat. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Judy (Alvin) Jackson of Loris, SC, Lois (Charles) Clark of Laurinburg, NC, Robert (Mildred) Caulder, George (Annette) Caulder, Jeanette (Ralph) Frietas, Myrtle (Rene) Berry, and Betty (Carlyle) Price, all of Dillon; brother, Lacy Sweat of Dillon; sister, Lelia Kemp of Kannapolis, NC; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; special friend, Mavis Rouse and all great staff at Pines Nursing Home.
Mrs. Caulder was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Caulder; and her daughter, Linda Caulder.
