Graveside services for Billy Powers will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Powers, 70, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Georgetown, SC, February 14, 1941, he was the son of the late Gary Powers and Olive Juanita Grier Powers. He was a Pastor at Northside Holiness Church, and was a retired Mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Herring Powers of Dillon; children, Victoria Lynn Cox of Columbia, SC, Ric Powers of Cheraw, SC, Billy Joe Powers of Camden, SC, and Lisa Motherway of Nashua, NH; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Powers of Dillon, Jimmy Powers of Bennettsville, Franklin Powers of Florence, Charles Powers of Dillon, and Bobby Powers of Cary, NC; sister, Virginia Rowell of Hamer.
