Ryan Stephens attended four games at the 2011 College World Series and visited historic Rosenblatt Stadium while in Omaha.
A crew from the Easton bat company was there filming a documentary which will include a segment on the stadium which was the site of the College World Series for over 50 years. Rosenblatt will be torn down in the coming months to make room for expansion of the Omaha Zoo as it will no longer be needed due to the construction of the new state of the art TD Ameritrade Park.
During the visit, Ryan struck up a conversation with the Easton bat reps, letting them know that he uses an Easton Surge bat in his Kiwanis Little League games back in Dillon. They ended up including him in the filming of the documentary and presented him with a new Easton Omen bat which he now cherishes!
