Jennie V. Blaha, 82, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at McLeod Medical Center-Dillon.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Piney Grove Freewill Holiness Church Cemetery.
Born in Dillon County, February 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Burke Carter and Sarah Cook Carter. She was the widow of the late Edward K. Blaha, a member of Sardis Baptist Church, and was a retired civil service worker.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Vicki Owens of Sellers; brother, Benny (Carolyn) Carter of Latta; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Blaha was preceded in death by her sons, John B. Owens, Roger Owens, and Larry Owens; and sisters, Doris Caulder, Alpha Turner, and Geraldine Forest.
