The Dillon Wildcats fell 4-3 to the Cheraw Braves in a non-conference soccer match on Wednesday, April 20.
Cheraw improves to 5-10 overall this season, while Dillon slips to 11-7 overall with a 7-2 Region 8-2A record. Dillon seems secure in second place behind the undefeated Waccamaw Warriors, who have a 10-0 region record this season.
The Wildcats have two more regularly scheduled games this season, the first on Monday, May 2, when they travel to Marion for their final region game of the season. On Wednesday, May 4, the Wildcats will host Andrews for their last regular season game. State Soccer Finals are scheduled for May 20 and 21.
