Teen Video Challenge Announced

The Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) launched the second year of the Teen Video Challenge, a national video competition for teens to get involved with reading and their public library’s summer reading program.

DHEC Takes Action On Bath Salts, Synthetic Marijuana

The S.C. Board of Health and Environmental Control has reclassified three substances that are commonly known as “bath salts,” and five substances used to make synthetic marijuana as schedule I controlled substances.

DHEC To Consider Bath Salts And Synthetic Marijuana

The S.C. Board of Health and Environmental Control will meet via conference call on Monday, Oct. 24 at 4:30 p.m. to consider adopting designations that have been made at the federal level regarding “bath salts” and synthetic marijuana.
