The Lake View Lady Wild Gators won 15-1 in 5 innings over the visiting Dillon Christian School Lady Warriors on Monday in Lake View in varsity softball action.
Lake View scored 7 runs in the bottom of the first inning and a run in the bottom of the second inning before Dillon Christian could muster a run in the top of the third inning. Lake View added 6 runs in the bottom of the third inning and a run in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Lake View’s Alex Elliott was perfect at the plate with 3 hits including a double and 3 rbi in her 3 at-bats. Baxleigh Arnette connected for a triple, 2 singles, and 2 rbi in her 4 at-bats. Bailey Miller had 2 hits. Kryston James had a double, a single, and a rbi in her 3 at-bats. Baylee Miller was 2 for 4 at the plate. Emma King had a hit and 2 rbi in her 2 at-bats.
Dillon Christian School’s Shayla Hunt was 1 for 2 at the plate. Caitie Eggert was perfect at the plate with a hit in her 1 at-bat. Audrey Polverari was also perfect a the plate with a hit in her 1 trip to the plate. Selena Johnson and Sarah Martin each connected for a hit in 2 at-bats.
Raven Locklear picked up the win. She pitched 5 innings and allowed 5 hits, 1 earned run, walked no one, and struck out 7.
Savannah Sherman was charged with the loss. She pitched 1/3 of an inning and allowed 4 hits, walked 3, struck out no one, and allowed 7 earned runs.
