A 90th birthday celebration was held for Mary L. Johnson at the City of Dillon Wellness Center, Saturday November 3, 2018. People came from N.C., S.C., Georgia, Tennessee, Connecticut, New York, Virginia, and Florida to honor her, along with family and friends. In attendance were brothers, sister, children, grandchild, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Many have had many other memorable moments. She was born during the Depression 1928.
Mary has lived nine decades. She has lived under fifteen presidents, and she has voted the last sixty-two years. She was employed by Saint Eugene Hospital, now McLeod Health Dillon, for 61 years. She retired at the age of 79.
Mary joined in the McLeod Anniversary Ceremony on Sunday, November 4, 2018, celebrating 75 years of McLeod serving the community.
Mary has served and still serving her church, community, family, and friends. Best wishes and Happy 90th Birthday Mary Lee.
