Dr. Cunningham Named Medical Director Of McLeod Dillon Emergency Department

McLeod Medical Center Dillon is pleased to announce Dr. Kievers Cunningham as Medical Director of the Emergency Department effective July 1, 2017.
Dr. Cunningham joined the Emergency Department at McLeod Dillon in 2013. Previously, he practiced medicine at McLeod Family Medicine, Florence, where he also served as a faculty member in the McLeod Family Medicine Residency program. In this capacity, he also oversaw the coordination of the rotations of the residents. He has also served as Medical Director and provider at Healthcare Place at Elgin, a Division of Kershaw County Medical Center, Kershaw, SC.
Dr. Cunningham has experience with people of all ages, from infancy to those at the end of life. With a strong history in the Dillon community since 1943, McLeod Dillon has continued to grow and expand to serve residents of Dillon (SC) and Robeson (NC) counties with excellence in patient care. The Joint Commission accredited medical center employs 350 and has the strength of 100 physicians on its medical staff. McLeod Dillon offers general and orthopedic surgery, women’s services, emergency services, intensive care, rehabilitative services and cardiac rehabilitation. Investments in state of the art technology to improve patient care have included MRI, digital mammography, 4D ultrasounds, CT Scans and nuclear and vascular studies.
