Jacqueline A. Hardy

YORK — Jacqueline Allen Hardy, 95, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Carolina Gardens in York.
The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Muse officiating.  Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. Friday at Dothan Cemetery in Dillon, S.C.  The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM on January 29, 2016 in the First Presbyterian Church Ladies Parlor.
 Jacqueline was a daughter of the late Charles Jeter Allen and Elizabeth Woods Waters Allen. She was the widow of Benjamin Franklin Hardy, Jr. Jacqueline was a member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church York.  She was awarded the Providence Presbytery’s Senior Adult Award, was a lifetime member of the women of the church, and was also an office volunteer at First Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the White Rose Book Club in York.
Jacqueline is survived by daughters Emily S. Branch (Charles) of Florence, Josephine Burke (Ken) of Lafayette, LA, Pat Ballard (Jim) of Fort Myers, FL, Ann Lee (Eddie) of York, nine grandchildren, Sarah Matthews (Sheldon), Paul Branch (Elizabeth), Chris Burke (Dejeana), Erik Burke (Brandi), Beth Bourgeois (Tony), Kara Vereen, Ryan Vereen, Elizabeth Walen (Corey), Kristen Elmore, ten great grandchildren, Mia Anderson, Tanner Anderson, Joseph Branch, Linda Branch, Gabrielle Burke, Natalie Burke, Chase Landry, Taylor Landry, Alex Bourgeois, Josie Bourgeois, and one great grandson Bradley Burke.  In addition to her parents and husband, Jacqueline was preceded in death by daughter Jackie Elmore and grandson Brian Elmore.
The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff of Agape Hospice for their care of Mrs. Hardy.
