Dillon Christian School Holds Annual Athletic Awards Banquet

Dillon Christian School held its annual awards banquet on Thursday, May 13, at the Dillon Wellness Center.

The Reverend John Bumgardner opened the event with prayer followed by Warrior Athletic Director Christian Wolfe thanking all coaches and persons who made the season a success. He also thanked those responsible for making the banquet possible. Two buffet lines were provided for the hungry guests.

After the meal Coach Wolfe introduced various coaches who presented trophies and awards to their individual teams. Coaches presenting the awards were: B-team football, Matt Patterson; varsity football, Christian Wolfe; volleyball, Dee Conn; B-team, JV, and varsity girls basketball, Bo Stone; B-team boys basketball, Sheldon Bethea; JV boys basketball, Christian Wolfe; varsity boys basketball, Timothy Smith; JV cheerleading, Mary Brown; varsity cheerleading, Sandy Herring; golf, Matt Adams; B-team softball, Dee Conn; varsity softball, Norm Norton; JV baseball, Jamie Hamilton; varsity baseball, Randy Carlyle; MS soccer, Jackie Outlar; DCS sporting clays team, Rhett Coleman; and speed and strength, Phillip Price. Each of the coaches introduced the assistant coaches and team members and then presented the special awards.
