Lady Wildcats Receive Softball Awards, Postseason Honors

Dillon High School handed out varsity and junior varsity softball awards on Tuesday, May 26.

Shaquailla German received the Offensive Award and Erin Bailey and Johnna Rogers each received the Defensive Award. Tyieshah Jones earned the Leadership Award, and Brittany Miller received the Rookie Award. Most Improved went to Tiffany Dwyer and Adoshia Graves.

Several players were also recognized for postseason honors. Shaquailla German, Erin Bailey, Tyieshah Jones, Johnna Rogers, and Shar’Asia Samuel were all named All-Region players and Brittany Miller and Ashley Phillips were Honorable Mention All-Region players.

German was also named All-State, and was chosen for the North South All-Star game.

The Junior Varsity Awards went to Emilee Price, Defensive Award; Carlie Huggins, Most Improved; and Taylor Blackmon, Hustler Award.
