The body found on Pittman Lane on Saturday evening has been identified as 92-year-old Clyde H. Monahan, Sr. of Dillon County, according to Coroner Donnie Grimsley.
Grimsley said the death is being treated as a homicide. Grimsley said the body is being sent for autopsy.
The case is under investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, the Dillon County Coroner’s Office, and SLED.
