Jury Deadlocks On Murder Charges, Guilty On Other Charges

The jury in the trial of Robert Lee Nelson, who was charged in the Mary and Walter Swaner case, deadlocked on the murder charges, but were found guilty on charges of burglary first, two counts of armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Deliberations Suspended In Trial Until Friday

Due to an air conditioning problem at the Dillon County Courthouse, deliberations in the trial of Robert Lee Nelson in the 2009 murders of Mary and Walter Swaner were suspended.
