Law Enforcement Operations Targeting Unlawfully Run Bars/Night Clubs Results In Arrests

Throughout the month of January, law enforcement agencies have been conducting operations within Dillon County that targets unlawfully run bars/night clubs that are within the county.
These operations will continue in order to show that they will not tolerate these bar/night clubs that are being run unlawfully nor will they tolerate the illegal activities that are taking place within.
On the evening of January 18th, law enforcement agents from Dillon County Sheriff’s Office/Violent Crime Task Force, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division combined forces and conducted an operation at a bar known as Little Philly Sports Bar, located at 3139-A US 301 South, Hamer.
This operation consisted of undercover people going into this location and making a buy of alcoholic beverages. This location has no license to sell, or store alcoholic beverages.

A search warrant was obtained and executed at this location due to the sale of alcoholic beverages. This search warrant led to the seizure of a quantity of beer and liquor as well as the arrest of Jamie Jermaine Baker, age 49, of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Baker is charged with:
-Alcohol/Unlawful sale, Manufacture, Etc. of Alcoholic Liquors
-Alcohol/Unlawful Storage or possession of Alcoholic Liquors in place of business
-Alcohol/ Failure to secure required beer or wine sale permit.
On the evening of January 26th, 2024 Law Enforcement conducted a very similar operation at The B Hive, located at 2318 Kentyre Road. Law Enforcement from Dillon County Sheriff’s Office/Violent Crime Task Force, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division combined forces once again and sent undercover people into this location to make the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
A bartender at this location did sell alcoholic beverages, and for this reason SLED did obtain a search warrant for this location.
Law Enforcement went to 2318 Kentyre Road in order to execute the search warrant. Upon arrival, law enforcement, located Brian Dudley, the individual that was determined to be in control of this bar, and advised him that selling or storing any alcoholic beverages without a license to do so is illegal in the State of South Carolina.

A search of this establishment was conducted and led to the seizure of a quantity of both beer and liquor.
Furthermore, this search led to finding that the suspect Brian Dudley was found to be in possession of approximately 290 oxycodone pills in five separate bottles, none of whichwere labeled. Suspect Brian Cornelius Dudley, age 38, of Dillon was arrested and charged with:
-Alcohol/Unlawful sale, Manufacture, Etc. of Alcoholic Liquors
-Alcohol/Unlawful Storage or possession of Alcoholic Liquors in place of business
-Alcohol/ Failure to secure required beer or wine sale permit.
-Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II Narcotics.
Law Enforcement will conduct as many operations as necessary to try and create a better and safer Dillon County,
