DILLON – Deborah Quick Rogers, 73, passed away at the family home October 20, 2023. Funeral services were held 4:00 p.m. graveside, Monday October 23, 2023 in Greenlawn Cemetery, 1252 Hwy. 57 S, Dillon, SC, with the Reverend Matt Adams officiating. Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday October 22, 2023 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
Debbie was born in Dillon, SC May 14, 1950, the daughter of the late Arthur Lonnie Quick and Lois Margaret Floyd Quick. She graduated Pembroke State University, Class of 1972. She received her Masters from Francis Marion University in 1975 and an additional thirty hours above Masters at the University of South Carolina. Debbie retired from teaching after forty years in Dillon District 4. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Dillon.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband Douglas Ray Rogers, II of the home; son Douglas Ray (Tray) Rogers, III of Dillon; brother, Arthur (Artie) Lonnie Quick, Jr. of Dillon; brother-in-law, Rodney Rogers (Sonja) of Latta, SC; sister-in-law, Janet McRae (Warren) of Mullins, SC; great aunt, Bobbie Floyd of Fairmont, NC; and nephew, Arthur Lonnie Quick, III (Breana) of Marion, SC.
