The Dillon County Library has recently received by donation the award-winning documentary film “Generation Zapped” for patrons.
Peter Sullivan, Executive Director states, “the film features an impressive array of international scientist and public health policy experts.”
“Generation Zapped” is a seventy- four-minute film that ask the audience to use technology safely for the sake of our own health and the health of future generations. “Generation Zapped” investigates the potential dangers of prolonged exposure to Radio Frequencies (RF) from wireless radiation technology, especially on the development of our children. The film helps us uncover the facts and guides us on how to reduce our exposure to health risk associated with wireless technology.
Director Sabine El Gemayel, a mother of teenagers, and as someone who loves technology, invites the audience to consider the case for honoring the precautionary principal when it comes to wireless technology – to simply slow down, turn it off at night or “plug it in” until more extensive research is validated and complete.
