ASSISTANT SOLICITOR Shipp Daniel was the guest speaker at the Latta Rotary Club recently.
Daniel gave a lively presentation about the judicial system, the responsibilities of the Solicitor’s Office, and the differences between adult and juvenile court. Daniel was the last law clerk that Judge James E. Lockemy had when he was on the Circuit Court Bench. He is the only assistant solicitor in the Fourth Circuit who handles the whole office by himself, and he is the only assistant solicitor who also handles the juvenile cases. His presentation was well-received.
