Latta High School Athletic Director Robbie Brown announced the addition of two coaches, Genesis Anderson as the new varsity volleyball coach and Chris Page as varsity boys basketball coach.
Anderson is a 2017 graduate of Latta High School.
During her time at Latta, she was Valedictorian as well as all-around athlete. Anderson was a two-time SCHSL State Champion in softball in 2015 and 2017. During her volleyball career, she was a North/South All-Star in 2016, All-State in 2015, Region Player of the Year in 2015, and All-Region in 2015 and 2016.
Anderson obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Charleston Southern University in 2021.
Anderson currently teaches Mathematics at Latta Middle School.She has most recently served as an Assistant Coach on the Latta High School Varsity Volleyball team as well as being the Head Junior Varsity Coach.
Chris Page is a 2001 graduate of Latta High School.
During his time at Latta, Page was a two-sport stellar athlete.
Page was an All-State and All-Region player in football. He was a member of the All-Zone Team and All-Region Player of the Year in 2001; All-State in 1999, 2000, and 2001; and All-Region in 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001. He served as the Captain of the Vikings Basketball team as well. Page was also a huge part of the 2001 State Championship Basketball team.
Page has been an Assistant Football and Basketball Coach at Latta High School for the past nine years.
