Six Individuals Indicted In Marion

Following an investigation by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), the Marion County Grand Jury indicted six individuals on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
Johnathan Dale Hewitt, 28, of Fork, was indicted for one count of Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent and one count of Criminal Conspiracy.
The indictment for Count One-Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent states that “Johnathan Dale Hewitt did in Marion County on or between March 10, 2021 and September 16, 2021, having been entrusted by the owner of (NAME BLACKED OUT) with the care, keeping, and possession of fuel cards and PIN number valued at more than ten thousand ($10,000) dollars, did feloniously convert and appropriate such property to his/her own use and purposes, with intent to deprive the owner thereof, in violation of Section 16-13-9230 (A) S.C. Code of Laws 1976, as amended.”
The indictment for Count Two for Criminal Conspiracy states that “Johnathan Dale Hewitt did on or between March 10, 2021 and September 16, 2021, unlawfully, willfully, knowingly, wickedly and feloniously unite, combine, conspire, confederate, agree with Liston Dykes, Oscar Foxworth, Anthony Graves, Alvin Hayes, Leon Woodbury between and among themselves, and have a tacit understanding with each other and with diverse other persons whose names are unknown to the Grand Jurors for the purpose of committing the crime of Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent, in violation of Section 16-17-0410, S.C. Code of Laws, 1976, as amended.”
The following people were indicted for one count of Receiving Goods or Services Fraudulently Obtained and one count of Criminal Conspiracy:
• Oscar Jay Foxworth, 34, of Marion
• Leon Woodbury, 59, of Mullins
• Liston Abraham Dykes II, 42, of Marion
• Alvin Tony Hayes, 49, of Mullins
• Anthony Dewayne Graves, 53, of Marion
The individuals listed above will be arraigned at a later date. The SLED investigation was requested by the Marion Police Department.
The case will be prosecuted by the 12th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
