Services for Nancy Mishue Tanner was held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation was held 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Tanner, 72, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
Born in Robeson County, NC, October 14, 1949, she was the daughter of the late J.B. Mishue and Virginia Ivey Mishue.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert Eugene Tanner, Sr. of Dillon; sons, Gene Tanner (Sheila), Jimmy Tanner (Angie), and Jeff Tanner (Kim), all of Dillon; grandchildren, Kathryn Griffey (Brendan), Caleb and Lizzie Tanner, James Tanner (Brandi Teague), Jessica, Justin and Joshua Tanner, D’Anna Tanner (Ryan Walsh), and McKenzie Tanner (Sallie Keith Page); great-grandchildren, Grayson Griffey, and Michaela Griffey, and expecting great-granddaughter Kinsley Tanner; brothers, Lennon Mishue (Patricia) of Texas, Larry Mishue (Janet) of Kittrell, NC; special aunt, Lucy Ivey Parker.
Mrs. Tanner was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers and sister, Fay Mishue, Jackie Mishue, and Jane Wilkins.
