Mrs. Norma Jean Locklear, age 88, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at McLeod Medical Center – Dillon, on June 24, 2022. She was born July 10, 1933, in Clinton, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Bertha Bell.
She is survived by her children, Donald Ray Locklear of Dillon, Teresa Hooks (Randy) of Dillon and Rusty Locklear (Virgie) of Bishopville, South Carolina. Also leaving behind to cherish her memory are nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Monroe Locklear and children, Mark Keith Locklear and Leslie Jean Revels.
A time of visitation will be held 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2022, in the chapel of Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald McDowell and Rev. Roscoe Oxendine, Jr. officiating, burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
