PUBLIC NOTICE
The County of Dillon will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 5:00 pm in the County Council Chambers, 109 S 3rd Ave, Dillon, SC, 29536 for the purpose of obtaining written and oral comments from the public concerning the following ordinance:
An Ordinance Adopting A Redistricting Plan For Dillon County, South Carolina In Compliance With the United States Constitution, the Constitution of the State of South Carolina, Section 4-9-90 of the South Carolina Code of Laws, 1976, as amended, and the United States Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended.
The public is strongly encouraged to participate in this important process. A copy of the ordinance, map and demographic data may be viewed or obtained from the Dillon County Administrative (Council) Office at 109 S 3rd Ave, Dillon, SC 29536 or requested by calling 843-774-1400.
