McLeod Health will begin offering the Pfizer COVID-19 Third Dose (Booster) Shot to individuals who meet eligibility requirements.
COVID-19 Booster Shots are available for the following Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine recipients who completed their initial series, 1st and 2nd doses of the Pfizer vaccine, at least 6 months ago and are:
• 65 years and older
• Age 18+ who live in long-term care settings
• Age 18+ who have underlying medical conditions
• Age 18+ who work in high-risk settings, such as healthcare and schools
• Age 18+ who live in high-risk settings, such as correctional facilities and homeless shelters
McLeod Health will be offering community Pfizer COVID-19 Third Dose (Booster) Shots based on the criteria above set by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention on the following date:
October 22, 2021
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
