Eva Mae Young, 64, died at her home September 27, 2021. Funeral services with military honors will be 2:00 p.m, graveside, Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon. The family will receive friends after the service. Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon is assisting the family.
Eva was born April 11, 1957, the daughter of the late James David and Golda Olive Stevens Hill. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her service in the Army was a source of pride in her life. After her service, she made her career in food service until her retirement
Ms. Young is survived by her son, Keith Lanson of the home; brothers, Jimmy Lee Hill (Gail) of Lancaster, SC, David Edward Hill of McDonough, GA; sisters, Delaine Hill of Cheraw, SC, Cheryl Peterson (Klay) of Spartanburg, SC, Linda Hill Smith of Dillon, SC,and Lisa Nadine Jackson (Glenn) of Dillon, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
