Services for Cecil Gerald “Gerry” Long were held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Long, 64, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon, SC, October 3, 1956, he was the son of the late Cecil Long and Ethel Watson Long. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dillon and was employed by the City of Dillon.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Long of Dillon; canine companion, Peanut; numerous cousins.
