Services for Marion Laster Ivey will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:00-2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Ivey, 82, died Friday, January 1, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, October 5, 1938, he was the son of the late Lester Ivey and Ella Tarte Ivey.
Survivors include his daughter, Jenny Lee (Tommy) of Dillon; sons, David Gerald Ivey (Faye Lynn), and Stevie Douglas Ivey, both of Burlington, NC; grandchildren, Eric (Joni) Lee, Casey (Mackie) Bailey, Kelly Lee, Brian Ivey, and Jennifer Ivey; great-grandchildren, Andrew Lee, Erika Lee, Allison Lee, Natalie Bailey, Lauren Bailey, Neil Bailey, and Danny Ivey; great-great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Bailey, Emisly Bailey, Analia Toribio, Jaylynn Ivey, Chloe Ivey, and Jonathan Dixon; brothers, Johnson Ivey and William Ivey; sister, Barbara Jean Ivey.
Mr. Ivey was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Ivey; and his granddaughter, Kayla Ivey.
