Tommie Wendell Lane, 48 years old of Dillon, SC passed from this life on November 3, 2020 at his residence in Brodhead, KY.
He was a well known pipefitter/supervisor for 28 years. After moving to Kentucky in January he became a dispatcher for KLCC Trucking.
T-bone was loved by many. He was of the holiness faith, and he attended Pine Hill Holiness.
His hobbies were fishing and sports, but most of all spending time with his children. T-bone loved those Cowboys.
Tommie is survived by his children, Keith Lane of Brodhead, KY, Jamie Lane & wife Jessica of Florence, SC, Wendell Lane and Charley Jo Lane of Latta, SC; one grandchild, Chandler Lane of Florence, SC; father, Tony & wife Kathy Lane of Crab Orchard, KY; sister, Dawn and husband Kenny Collins; nephews, Blaine and wife, Tawana Collins,, of Brodhead, KY, and Austin & wife Paige Collins of London, KY; great-niece, Makena Jade Collins known by Uncle Tony as “Clown”; and also a host of aunts and uncles.
Tommie was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sue Lane; and infant brother, Tony Keith Lane.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-9:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
