Reward Offered For Cemetery Vandalism

A $2,500 reward is being offered that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the vandalism of tombstones at the Carolina Presbyterian Church Cemetery.



The reward has been established by private contributors.
The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the vandalism of the grave markers (tombstones).
According to an incident report by Deputy Jacob Taylor unknown person(s) did vandalize approximately 18 tombstones at the Carolina Presbyterian Church Cemetery by knocking them over and causing damage to the tombstones.

Some of the vandalized grave markers date back to the 1800s.
