Sheriff’s Office Investigating Property Crimes

The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the listed property crimes, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.

• On December 24, 2019, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at ABC Wrecker Service in Dillon in reference to a stolen vehicle. According to an incident report by Deputy Russell Hubbard, the owner stated that his 1999 Ford rollback was stolen from the business between December 23 and December 24, 2019. The rollback is white in color with ABC Wrecker Service lettering on the doors.
• On December 25, 2019, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Highway 301 South in Dillon in reference to a stolen four-wheeler and dirt bike. According to an incident report by Deputy Troy Jones, the complainant stated that unknown person(s) did break into the building at the incident location and stole a blue and white Raptor four wheeler and a Yamaha 450 dirt bike, blue and white in color.
• On December 29, 2019, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Lewis Street in Dillon in reference to a stolen utility trailer. According to an incident report by Deputy Ryan Bethea, the complainant stated that unknown person(s) removed a 5X8 utility trailer from his property around December 29, 2019.
