DILLON – Patricia Herring Page, 63, died December 24, 2018 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27 with Reverend Dickie Cullum officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26 at Kannaday Funeral Home of Dillon.
Ms. Page was born in Dillon, South Carolina on October 12, 1955, the daughter of Betty Jackson Herring and the late T.B. Herring, Jr. She graduated from Dillon High School in 1973 and from Francis Marion College in 1977. Ms. Page taught in the Dillon public school system for 38 years before her retirement. She was a member of the Glove and Trowel Garden Club, the Pilot Club, the Cotillion Club of Dillon, and the ladies’ ministry at First Baptist Church.
Ms. Page is survived by her mother, Betty Jackson Herring; two sons, Henry “Hank” Mark Page II and Talmadge Kirkland “Kirk” (Brittany) Page, both of Columbia; an aunt, Frances H. Price of Floydale; and numerous cousins.
Flowers are being accepted. However, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 400 North Fourth Avenue, Dillon, SC 29536; the American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123; or to the charity of one’s choice. Kannaday Funeral Home of Dillon is assisting.
