Moya McDuffie connected for 21 points to lead the Latta Lady Vikings to a 44-30 win over Lamar in Latta on Wednesday, December 12.
Latta had a 10-point lead after the first quarter and increased their lead to 27-8 at halftime.
Lamar managed 12 points in the third quarter and held Latta to 9 points.
Latta’s Rayne Nolan for 9 points with one 3-point basket while Ri’Ana Green added 7 points with a 3-point basket. DeKhasia Green and Adaya Gordon each scored 3 points including 1 free throw. Diasha Burdsall connected for a free throw for the Lady Vikings.
Heidi Anderson led Lamar in scoring. Also, Nari Coe, Jashyia Ham, and Alexius Green scored.
Latta committed 5 fouls in the first half and 7 fouls in the second half.
Lamar was guilty of 10 fouls in the first half and 8 in the second half.
Latta will travel to Andrews today (Tuesday, Dec. 18) for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off.
