GREENSBORO, N.C. – Junior J.T. Carmichael (Dillon, S.C./Dillon) recently completed the 2018 football season with Guilford College.
Carmichael, a 5-8, 220-pound defensive lineman, started all nine games for the Quakers. He had 29 total tackles, five for a loss, and recorded 3.5 sacks, good for third on the team. Carmichael’s best performance came against league-rival Ferrum College where he charted two sacks and eight total tackles in Quakers’ victory. He earned Third Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) honors at the end of the season.
Coach Chris Rusiewicz’s Quakers posted a 3-6 overall record (2-5 ODAC). The Quakers are slated to return as many as 78 letter winners, including Carmichael.
