Mr. Ralph Burney Moore went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Carolina’s Hospital System in Florence, surrounded by his loving family.
Heaven received an angel who was God’s gift to his family for over 63 years.
He touched not only his family but numerous others throughout his life and will be greatly missed.
Born in the Latta Township of Dillon County, SC, on September 13, 1955, he was the son of the late Melvin Luther Moore and Ruby Rogers Moore. Ralph loved shoes, drinking Pepsi-Cola, and had to have syrup on everything he ate.
Survivors include his sisters, Alice M. Cottingham of Latta and Linda K. Poston (Archie) of Florence; by brothers, John David Moore of Hartsville and Harry Moore of Latta.
Graveside Services were held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Magnolia Cemetery in Latta, directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. Benny Cooper will officiate.
Ralph is predeceased by his parents listed above; a sister, Fran M. Parker; and by brothers, Fred Moore and David Moore.
Memorials are suggested to: The Latta Baptist Church, 202 Marion Street, Latta, SC 29565.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Mrs. Georgia Davis and the staff members of the S.C. Department of Disabilities and Special Needs Regional Center of Florence for the special care and love shown to Ralph, during his stay over the years.
