The fifteenth anniversary of Cowboy Church was held on Saturday, October 27, at 3:00 p.m. at the New Life Family Worship Center.
The opening prayer was by Jimmy Bryant.
The Rivers and Owens band was introduced by Rev. Don Bishop from Florida.
After several gospel songs by Rivers and Owens, there was a fashion show. The youth winner was Samantha Brigman. The adult winners were Mary Woodell, first place; Madge Rogers, first runner-up; and Amanda Brigman, second runner-up.
At the conclusion of the fashion show, everyone dispersed to play games such as volleyball and enjoy horse rides.
Grilled hot dogs with all the trimmings were served to all.
The afternoon was filled with the Word, gospel songs, and fellowship.
Pastor Jim Owens and the entire congregation held the free event, and thanked everyone for being there.
Plans are already underway for next year’s fall festival.
The New Life Family worship center is located at 2470 Hwy. 301 South, Dillon.
