Lavern “Dean” Leigh, 58, went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his home in Lake View, SC.
Dean was born in Dillon County to parent’s Doris Blackwell Leigh & Ellie Lavern Leigh, now deceased. Dean is survived by his wife of the home, Teresa Leigh of Lake View, SC; one daughter, Melissa (Scott) Moody of Dillon, S.C., three sons, Bradley (Kimberly) Owens of Dillon, S.C., Adrian Leigh of Cerro Gordo, N.C. and Brandon Leigh of Cerro Gordo, N.C. and 10 grandchildren.
Dean loved the outdoors and loved to sing at church. He was a member of Kemper Baptist Church, Lake View, SC.
Services were held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2pm with visitation at 1pm at Kemper Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kemper Baptist Church.
