The Latta Vikings returned home Friday, September 15, from Kingstree with the fourth victory of the season handing Kingstree a 28-13 loss.
The Vikings’ Dylan Brewer completed 10 of 19 passes for 216 yards including 3 touchdowns.
Kendall Moultrie was on the receiving end of 5 passes for 124 yards. Moultrie also rushed for 23 yards and 2 touchdowns on 4 carries. J.R. McClam scored a touchdown on his lone reception of 15 yards. Deonta Stanley had 2 receptions for 39 yards while Darius McRae caught a pass for 23 yards. Chandler Nolan also grabbed a pass for 15 yards.
Latta’s Dylan Carter rushed for 96 yards on 13 carries while Chandler Nolan had 9 carries for 67 yards. Brandon Hayes also picked up 7 yards on 1 carry. The Vikings’ Mikey Dotson had 14 tackles in the win while Bridges Young had 11 tackles and 1 FF. Chandler Matthews had 10 tackles and 1 sack.
Devonta Stanley had 7 tackles while Trey Anderson and John Malcolm George each had 6 tackles. Levond Dingle had 5 tackles and 1 sack. Chandler Nolan added 5 tackles while Tim Jones and Gavin McRae each had 4 tackles. Blake Tyler and Kiese Blake each had 2 tackles.
Kendall Moultrie added a tackle and 1 FF.
Kingstree’s Jaisean Green and Direlle McGee each had a rushing touchdown.
Latta is 4-1 for the season while Kingstree is 0-4 for the season.
Latta will travel to Andrews on Friday, September 22.
