Services for Lucille Weatherford George were held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethesda Southern Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Ms. George, 70, died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, February 1, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Roland Weatherford and Nita Byrd Weatherford.
Survivors include her son, Timothy George of Latta; granddaughter, Isabella Elizabeth George; brothers and sisters, Bennie Weatherford, Agnes Townsend, Betty Willoughby, and Barney Weatherford, all of Latta; very special friend, Glenn Lane.
Ms. George was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucinda George.
