Ms. Marilyn Darlene Little, age 52, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2017 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Dillon County, SC, on November 26, 1964, she was the daughter of Ruthie Blackmon Johnson and the late Bobby Johnson and her biological father Edward Brumbles. She was a graduate of Anson High School and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving, caring, and compassionate person. She enriched the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her daughters, Brittany (Trevor) Cox of Pawleys Island, SC and Michelle Clark (Cory) of Bennettsville; her mother, Ruthie Blackmon Johnson of Hartsville; her fiancé, Sidney Clark of Brownsville; a sister, Lisa (Allen) Powers of Latta; a brother, Richard “Ricky” (Ping) Johnson of Hickory, NC; grandchildren, Aiden Cox & Cooper Cox of Pawleys Island, SC and Raylan Odom of Bennettsville; special aunts, Linda Perritt, Sandra Evans & Brenda Lambert; a niece, Abigail Johnson; and nephews, Rodney Powers, Jamie Powers, Nicholas Powers and Bodhi Johnson.
Funeral services were held 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Bethlehem Cemetery in Brownsville. The family received visitors from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Darlene was preceded in death by her father and stepfather listed above; by her paternal grandparents, Bosser and Ruth Brumbles; and her maternal grandparents, Charlie and Martha Blackmon.
